Constant Contact, Delivra. I selected [MailChimp] after reviewing several other platforms and selected it based on its ease of use, simplicity and cost structure. It's easy to understand and they continue to add new features to the platform. It's a great tool for starting an …
Assistant Director, Master of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation
Chose Intuit Mailchimp
Mailchimp is much better. It's a perfect combination of a boutique platform and a legacy system like Constant Contact. They have a stellar free-level package (up to 2,000 addresses) that makes them a no-brainer go-to for any organization or department. Also, their customer …
Honestly, SurveyMonkey was on our radar before most of these other options, and as it has met basically all our needs, we've felt no need to switch. For the record, Typeform's interfaces for their surveys are much more beautiful and enjoyable to use.
I only filled out a survey from this company maybe once and it wasn’t my survey. I just remembered it being straight forward and a short survey. It was a while ago.
-Great replacement to filling manual forms. Helps digitise the entire process and save loads of time - Can be easily customised to your needs - Very simple and effective user interface - Great team behind Dashpivot. Always available to solve your needs. - Can easily analyse information in the filled forms. Though the analytics can be further improved
For any E-commerce related needs, like you need to see a list of customers who have added products to cart but did not purchase, this can be done really easily, but if your e-commerce provider provides integration, then it is best suited. Most of the systems in the Market provide out-of-the-box integration. Their API is also very easy it can be integrated to any language. You can integrate it into your custom developed system and use the features, like adding customers to specific lists. Also, if your lists become really big, then their system can get a bit slow to respond via API, so you might need a strategy for how you are gonna fetch the data using API.
SurveyMonkey is well suited for external, professional, client-facing forms and complex question types. I've tried generating forms on HubSpot, and it's not nearly as intuitive or clean-looking, and not all question types are supported (e.g. Likert scales). For quick, internal forms that don't need to be as pretty or professional, I find that Google Forms is the quickest and easiest to pull together, especially since it has a single, universal respondent link. If I wanted to embed a link in a mass email, SurveyMonkey doesn't allow multiple respondents to use the same link on my plan.
Soooooooo easy to set up and use! So user friendly a monkey could do it.
Customer support is phenomenal. Phone, email, online chat. Easy to follow instructional videos. No call centre in Thailand.
I love that you can use pre-filled data. Type up lists once and NEVER have to hand type them again! Just click!
Tagging! Being able to categorise photos to particular categories for enhanced search functions. Brilliant!
Fully flexible customisation. All the templates we have created we have had full creative capabilities with. I haven't found anything yet that I wanted to do that couldn't be done. I was even able to add three pages of terms and conditions to a purchase order template.
Mailchimp allows you to manage your mailing list really well. You can subscribe people, unsubscribe people manage the mailing list directly into segments, and what not.
Mailchimp has features where you can create campaigns based on your mailing lists and send out newsletters to your subscribers based on a multitude of parameters that you can setup. Such as send email daily, weekly, monthly and they also have event based mails that you can send out.
Mailchimp also has a feature where you can design your emails. The look and aesthetics are very important when sending emails to your subscribers and all those needs are addressed here.
Being able to close the survey at a set time without having to remember to do so.
Takes the guess work out of response collecting.
Makes it easy to categorize responses within the same survey. Being able to add tags to open-ended questions makes it easy for us to identify patterns in responses.
An array of survey options and questions.
An all around great product that meets multiple needs.
Can have multiple collectors for the same survey to included manual input.
To send the induction template to every sub contractor to fill out and send back to us before entering site. Once we have the basic information we then can do the induction and sign off after completing the induction. Each induction could generate a number and it could form a list of names to a number on a register.
Site safety audit. If we could carry over a problem to create a list that has to get signed off ones done. That would be very handy.
Every one of our files generated is to be able to be re detected back on our own business server.
I would like to have more customizable options for branding it to our hospital colors. Some survey options allow you to enter html color codes. SurveyMonkey allows you to change colors and you have to pick from selected options.
Embedding the surveys into a webpage, like WordPress is not as seamless as other services.
We've had Mailchimp for about ten years, I want to say. I started with the company about four years ago, and I don't see us ever diverting to another source. It's easy for us to use, and we have all our clients already built into the database. I imagine we'll use them for as long as we have the company.
Compared to other competitors in the market (including a few I've used internally), if you're looking for a survey application, this one does the job and it's quite inexpensive too. Considering the fact that it comes with a handy mobile application too (on iOS and Android), you also get flexibility thrown in the deal too.
It is so simple. I put off getting an online system for sooooo long because I dreaded the thought of getting a new system, having to set it all up and having to teach everyone how to use it. I also envisaged me being the port of call every time it stopped working or people didn't know what they were doing. I now wish I had done it a long time ago. The set up was so basic. I had 45 minutes of training over the phone in front of my PC and I was set to go! By the end of the day, I had already gone from "I'm just going to start off with Site Diaries and implement everything else gradually" to "this is bloody amazing, everything is now on Dashpivot and everyone is using it!" We converted our entire site and internal systems over to Dahpivot by Site Mate in the space of a day! True story.
The interface is a bit complicated, and I need to spend some time to learn new functions and understanding how it works. I don't like working with email templates because of the limited customization options. However, functions like AI for generating emails, segmentation, and analytics still work well and are very useful.
It does everything a survey software should do, and it does it very well. I can't speak for how well it would work for a business that was surveying tens of thousands of people - but for a small business of 50 employees with a couple of thousand clients, it does everything it needs to do.
I have, in the 4+ years that I've used Mailchimp, never seen an issue that restricted the use of their software/tools. I don't know of a single time when they're system crashed or went down. I could be wrong, but I honestly haven't experienced any issues with outages, errors or unplanned downtime
I haven't noticed any slow speeds from Mailchimp or their tools. I think the landing pages load quickly and look nice. The email reports and editing operates smoothly and doesn't take time to load. Additionally, when I use Mailchimp in conjunction with Zapier + Hubspot I don't notice any drag between any of these tools
At the beginning of my use of the phone application, it did not support the Arabic language I contacted customer service and my request was taken seriously, and within a short period of time, a phone application was updatet to support the Arabic language
Website tools were easy to use and understand so a novice can easily meet or exceed their client's expectations! Loved that we were able to totally customize so that the e-mail we created conveyed our client's overall messaging consistent with their branding! Client love that we can provide turnkey services to support their sales and marketing teams!
I've never had to contact the SurveyMonkey customer care team directly, but they have a pretty good library of help articles on their website. Everything from designing and executing your survey to account and billing questions. I never had a need for further support from Survey Monkey.
Implementation was super easy and dare I say fun! I thoroughly enjoyed the implementation process. We all got excited coming up with suggestions and ideas for what we could implement next.
It's pretty easy to get up and running! There's a slight learning curve on a few things, but once you find where everything is located, you can import your list and send your first email. It really makes our clients feel great to see how quickly they can get that first email out.
Some onsite audit tools are hard to use, they do not transfer well to a mobile platform. Dashpivot is easy to read and use on any mobile device. Additionally other platforms make the document build cumbersome, DashPivot is simple and easy to develop or copy new tools.
I don't think they are comparable; we use Google Ads to put our website at the top of the list when someone googles certain words. We use meta business to manage our social media. Google aims to gain customers, while Mailchimp is used to interact with both existing and new customers.
SurveyMonkey is easier to customize and provides much more in depth analytics. SurveyMonkey also provides better templates providing us with a better presentation to our employees. SurveyMonkey also comes with a more trustworthy platform that ensures confidentiality, which is incredibly important to our employees and means we're getting more reliable results from the surveys.
Mailchimp over the years I've used it has grown in leaps and bounds. They have added so many additional features than were previously available. They are truly an all-in-one marketing platform now. If you're a small operation and just want to add email to your marketing efforts, they're there for you. If you're a larger operation and want to start sending postcard advertisements, they can do that. If you'd good with that and want to kick up your marketing by going social, you can do that on their platform. They are truly able to be as small as you need, but also get quite large in whatever it is you'd like to do through their system.
Dashpivot helps keep track of the resources and finances being used in a project making it easy for us to make well-informed decisions.
It usually would take a day to get the report to the Project Engineer, but with the Dashpivot the reports are almost instant with a good internet connection.
One of my retail web store clients was sending out email specials and notices about once a month. After clicking the send button, we would watch Google Analytics and the current site users would light up immediately. Often, the current site visitors would pop up to 20, 30 or more after the email was sent. On a normal day, seeing 1 or 2 online users would be OK.
Pretty much in all cases, we could see an uptick in positive activity after sending out a Intuit Mailchimp email to a list.
The speed at which we can develop, program, execute and generate actual usable results provides significant value, particularly when we need fresh numbers to illustrate a point.
The fact that we can execute a research project so quickly means that new research is always a primary option when we're developing campaigns. That's a huge value proposition.
