We demo'd Ourtreach and Outplay. Outreach would never really focus on what I, as a salesperson, was looking for - they liked to talk about the features geared to management and marketing in regards to reporting and the dashboard. They didn't have a trial either - and I would …
Groove is excellent for the use case of improving sales representative and customer success representative productivity and data quality when used alongside Salesforce. It is a Salesforce focused tool. You should definitely consider Groove if you are a current Salesloft / Outreach user and you also use Salesforce.
Groove would not be a good fit for an organization not using Salesforce.
Orum is especially well-suited for companies that have high top-of-funnel activity metrics. High-velocity and high-volume sales are more easily facilitated by Orum. Orum is especially useful for industries where cold calling still means conversion. Orum is a must-have in any early-stage startup's tech stack.
Reliable support, easy onboarding for new sales reps and SDRs within my team. Email delivery is very important for us, and it does a very good job. Sequencing setup is very easy and their team does provide us good examples to keep our sequences smart. It would be awesome if they introduce linkedin automation as well, currently you can add a linkedin task but not automate it.Overall we've used it for the last 2 years and its worked great for us.
Calls get cut off more regularly than I would expect. I am not sure if that is an issue on Orum's end, but I don't think it is a network issue either so I am not sure why.
In the search lists, it would be nice if we could add favorite cadences or separate by our own.
I actually don't have any complaint regarding groove. It's just that I will give 9 since I confidently believe that there'd be updates in the future which would be more optimal not just for us users but for the business as well. The only regret I have with groove is I was not able to use it before the current company that I'm employed
Groove has been an awesome platform to use for sales pipeline management. I really enjoy how it integrates with my Salesforce, Gmail, and Google Calendar. It makes my job easier by helping me keep track of the progress of each sales contact that I have. Leads are able to reply and notify us using Groove.
Very easy to pick up and use. I was involved in the trial phase all the way through to implementation, and actually defined the internal Orum process for the company. Given my involvement I was very hands on and involved in training the bulk of the team, and found that many if not all users picked the tool up very quickly and it was very easy to document the process due to the usability. The only sticking point tended to be the CRM integration for loading in contacts to lists as this was a little bit fiddly, however the actual tool is super easy to use
Outplay is really simple with respect to the usage. Once we integrate the tool, it is really reliable and highly productive. Setting up multiple campaigns, and tracking the metrics is straight forward and simple. Also setting up the email templates and campaign sequence is simple and easy to use and operate
My company has a team dedicated to supporting our implementation of operative tools and business systems such as Groove. For this reason, I feel that we have ample support for Groove, although I have not personally contacted Groove for any support issues.
At Nearpod, I have been impressed with the internal expertise and support around Groove as a key tool for the Sales and Customer Success business systems and operations.
Groove is simple. Like their competitors, they give you the ability to create templated "Flows" (sequences) of calls, emails, and LinkedIn touches. Some of them can be automated, but it's also simple to personalize outreach. Ultimately, my decision to purchase Groove over some of the competitors was based on their Salesforce integration, as well as white-glove customer service.
I have both Orum and Outreach but use Orum for instances where I need to call at scale. Outreach is designed for one-off calls but does not have nearly the breadth and quality of resources for dialing at scale that Orum does.
Ease of use. Reliable for email delivery. They do it really well. I think the interface is easy to use, and I can get my new reps on the tool asap. Their support has been reliable, and they share best practices.
Reduced several hours a week of logging time in Salesforce that either wouldn't get done or would have been done to the detriment of more value add activities.
Saves hours per week by delivering actionable/useful info from Salesforce into Gmail
Gives me valuable insight on what emails are being opened and read. This helps plan targeting.
As a BDR, setting meetings is how I get most of my Bonus, and Orum has allowed me to do this more easily by reaching more prospects
Whereas before I may only be able to make 500 calls a week if I really grinded, I can make 1,000+ calls a week using Orum even easier
Orum's masking of my number has allowed me to get on the phone with folks that had seemingly been ghosting me for months, which has allowed me to grow my business
