  • Custom reports that provide granular data for reviewing employee productivity and project progress.
  • Custom views of projects to display pertinent information in a simple view.
  • Social aspect for communicating with project team members, which cuts down on email and keeps discussion organized to specific projects or tasks.
  • Easy-to-understand visual indicators to quickly and efficiently monitor progress.
  • Some of the workflows are not as intuitive as other systems, which created a fairly steep learning curve during implementation and for training new hires.
  • Bulk editing tools are slightly cumbersome.
  • There are some nuances when building reports and views that the average user wouldn't understand. We have an in-house Project Manager that handles the complicated questions/requests.

Setting up AtTask for our purposes was a large upfront investment, but has paid off in the long run. I appreciate the custom reports, communication abilities, and project tracking tools. I was not overly impressed with their training sessions, but fortunately we have an in-house project manager that handles the onboarding process for our team.
