It is essential for us to recognize talents and hire smartly. After the initial step of resuming scanning, it becomes imperative to know whether a potential employee is technically sound or not. CodeSignal as a platform helps achieve that as it allows the user to choose a programming language they are comfortable in and simultaneously provides the user with a robust and easy UI to code and see the output.
Pros
- Provide a great UI
- Easy question reading and coding interface
- Quick results and hardly any delay or buffering
- Quantitative measure of each submission
- Difficult good level questions
- Provides many programming language options
Cons
- The fact that a user cannot take a different company's test if they are in the waiting period due to the first company is not helpful
- Allowing someone to then take a proctored test if they talk to customer support while denying someone else the same request is not consistent
- A user should not be stopped from attempting tests from different companies. Especially if the cool-down period of one company falls over the deadline of submission for another company.
