Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Currently, we are using CrashPlan to backup data, on mobile devices, for all of our IT users. We are in the process of rolling out the deployment to the entire company.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Bandwidth efficiency, particularly with their latest version.
Fine-tuned granularity of settings, and the ability to allow or disallow end user settings changes.
Many options for backups, and usability.

Cons

Because of the robust granularity of settings, it is often overwhelming to make needed changes.
Bandwidth can not be restricted on a user only basis, but only on an organization as a whole.
