Overall Satisfaction with CrashPlan
CrashPlan is being utilized in our environment by executive leaders and their admins. Loss of data for these groups is a business critical issue, with CrashPlan we eliminate the need for archaic media; log in to the portal and restore, it's a simple as that. This simplicity allows IT groups to focus on other projects while the users are able to manage their own backup and restore points.
- LDAP integration, makes setting up users a breeze!
- Throttling connection speeds, this way the users desktop isn't being choked out while a transfer is going.
- Very simple to deploy with SCCM, extract the MSI and deploy! It couldn't be simpler.
- No iPad support as of yet.
- LDAP look up can get a little weird if you don't know the exact string that you will be searching for.
- Customers love CrashPlan! Simple to use - a couple clicks and your information is restored!
- Desktop migration couldn't be simpler! Not having to use USMT is a life saver!
- The folks at CrashPlan are amazing to work with! Very nice, quick resolutions for any issues we have called about.
We didn't even look at other vendors, CrashPlan was it! The simple use and configuration was a big seller for our team. Our end users love it since they can manage everything on their own.
