Overall Satisfaction with FileMaker Pro

We currently use Filemaker Pro across our entire organization as the tool to create our VIN Numbers for the boat trailers we manufacture. Filemaker generates the VIN label, tire tags, and the certificate of origin to be able to register the trailers through DOT. It has been formatted to include all relevant and legal data to be able to register with the DOT.
  • Formatting for specific needs
  • Capacity to store data is huge
  • Server support if interested but not necessary.
  • Autosave can be a huge con
  • We wouldn't be able to function without it. We needed a Vin creation tool and this program does it seamlessly.
From what I can tell Filemaker Pro is very versatile. The best function is the ability of mass data collection. This tool makes it easy to collect data and organize it effectively for better use. Another pro is that you can use third-party programs and combine them with Filemaker to get better functionality.
