Overall Satisfaction with IBM Maximo Application Suite

Used to create corrective work identified during PdM analysis. Also, used for capital/O&M projects to track tasks and work and track costs. Have used to create PM tasks, job plans, meters, failure codes, condition monitoring trends, pull reports, and create KPIs. However, our main use is to create and track corrective work identified during PdM analysis.

Pros

  • Track labor and material costs
  • Provide basis for Preventive, Predictive and Proactive Maintenance tasks
  • Provide standard KPI's for performance tracking

Cons

  • Improve upon the Scheduler tool.
  • Easier method for pulling reports.
  • Work Order Tracking.
  • Planning and Scheduling.
  • Reporting
  • Has helped to better focus our resources on doing the right work with the right people and using the right parts.
  • Hard to accurately determine ROI due to the difficulty of extracting data in useful formats.

Works well for tracking corrective and planned maintenance, but needs simplified methods of pulling data for reports and performance metrics without having to rely on understanding SQL and getting IT to support involved.
