We've been running the most critical applications and Databases on IBM Power System Virtual Servers for years to support our customer requirements for different geographical locations. Our major applications like billing and ERP applications have been deployed on the IBM Power System Virtual Servers where we observe the optimal performance with fewer and minor issues. We can proudly say that we have decreased the P1 & P2 issues while comparing with other competitive vendors of the hardware.

The kind of customization and tuning parameters are available to provide more value in respect of different Databases like Oracle, DB2, etc. The same can be done for the application which helps to have minimal downtime to run our business success. Along with these as we know Hardware is robust and in case of any failure, we get immediate help from IBM. That's the reason we selected IBM Power System Virtual Servers.
Vulnerabilities can be remediated by performing necessary upgrades on time in respect of OS level and VIO level as we upgrade its firmware. We always go with the practice to have an upgrade of OS level, VIO level, and Firmware level along with its adapter microcode in commissioning of the server. Through these practices, we can reduce Vulnerabilities.
IBM can be managed via its HMC, Power VC, or some other platform. If we had ESA in such condition in case of service events auto-trigger will happen and directly ticket will be raised by OEM to take necessary without delay. There is some other method to encounter the error such as one of the famous is the ERRPT command. We can fix these issues and can achieve business outcomes.
So far, we have had a long experience on IBM servers where we have huge transactions at regular intervals. In such scenarios, we need better I/O 's along with powerful computing and memory whereas scalability options should have to meet per business demands, so that we can get the optimal performance that we experienced with IBM Power System Virtual Servers.
