Overall Satisfaction with Intacct
Intacct is used by our finance and accounting department. It allows for dimensional reporting and pushing out of information to other departmental managers. We are working towards building in more parameters around our sales staff and department managers to play a more integral part of managing company expenses.
Pros
- Global transational input across multiple entities. No more logging in/out of various entries to add transactions.
- Cloud based, so can approve invoices/payments while out of the office.
- Integration with Adaptive Insights as well as Salesforce.
- Dashboard reporting for my executive team.
Cons
- Adding dimensional approval ability into Accounts Payable. Allowing invoices to be approved by department managers.
- Best practices suggestions on reporting and dashboards. Possibly some canned dashboards that can be easily modified by users.
- Allows for faster month-end close.
- Allows for approvals and review while attending business functions out of the office.
- Adding attachments directly to transactions instead of a separate document management system.
Document management was a big factor. The others did not have that.
