Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

As I mentioned already I had performance issues and troubles searching for the correct element. But the overall experience was good.
As a quality assurance engineer, I used Lucidchart to create integration, component, end to end tests diagrams.
  • I like that a can google icon in the app.
  • Aligning elements well when moving an item.
  • Nice build in icons
  • I had trouble finding an icon by search. In particular, I searched for "service", "API service", "application service" and got nothing that would fit my needs. Had to stick with a rectangle.
  • When I open Lucidchart tab in the browser, it freezes for a couple of seconds. But the diagram wasn't heavy at all. Just a couple elements. With heavy diagrams it gets worse from my experience.
  • It would be great to have a feature when I select a group of elements or all elements, click a button and elements adjusted the best way possible, meaning that links (arrows) between them are clear to see and not intersects another elements.
  • Gave a better understanding of software architecture that definitely saved some time and improved productivity.
I could log in with my SSO which is good.

I used Lucidchart only for a specific type of diagrams - software architecture and in general. I had a good experience with it. The only downside was that I spend a lot of time searching for icons I need and usually had to stick with something close enough, but not exactly what I looked for. I suppose Lucidchart users who create diagrams on daily basis will have a better experience than users who had to draw one diagram in a month.
