Overall Satisfaction with Motive

Being that we are mandated by the department of transportation to use Electronic logging devices. We use the Motive software to monitor our driver's hours of service. Before the motive software driver has to write paper logs and we would have to calculate the hours to be sure that the drivers were operating within the Hours of Service

I had one specific situation where my driver ran out of hours somewhere in CT and I needed him to bring the merch back to our yard. We called motive and they helped us by telling us how we can use the split sleeper berth rule to legally get the hours to return home
The only thing I can do is compare Motive to a time where we didn't have ELD's. In the event of a DOT we would have to get all of the paper logs for the last 6 months to a year organize them and them prepare them for review. Now all you have to do is click and print

Anytime I had a driver that needed assistance with the ELD. Motive was either a phone call or email away. They have superb customer service and speak many different languages making it easier for my drivers to communicate their issues. The CSR's are also very patient with the drivers as with everything the drivers already go through the last thing they need is someone not willing to help
