Overall Satisfaction with Netlify Platform
We build websites and we use Netlify for hosting our websites. Its starter pack is good for beginners who build websites just for fun or have fewer users/visitors (less than one hundred). It's good for hosting multiple websites when you have multiple projects going on side by side. It is also good when you need to temporarily host your website for testing before main deployment.
- Hosting multiple websites and having multiple projects
- Updating the site by directly connecting to Github repository as new code is pushed
- Temporary deployment to show preview on GitHub pull requests
- Seemed good till now but the starter pack has limited storage
- Site goes into sleep mode if it has no visitor for many days
- The GitHub extension is also part of the enterprise pack but is an excellent feature
- Continuous deployment by integrating with GitHub
- Better monitoring and Netlify checks for new PRs
- Temporary hosting for testing and preview
- Smooth loading experience so increased user visits
- Easy monitoring experience
