Overall Satisfaction with PayPal Zettle
I needed a POS solution that would integrate with our Big Commerce eCommerce platform to make my life easier as far as managing inventory that I sell both in-store and online. I also did not want to spend a lot on this solution since in-store sales are not as strong as they used to be. The hardware was inexpensive and offers everything I need: POS system that integrates easily, cash drawer, thermal printer, card reader, and barcode scanner. The POS is iPad based, and works very well.

- I can use my PayPal debit to access the funds immediately or I can transfer them to my bank.
1) Square has a much more expensive startup cost in purchasing their hardware.
2) Square POS is not tailored for eCommerce
3) Square is not as easy to work with and has terrible customer service.
4) Square has previously flagged an online transaction as fraudulent and withheld my funds... this was 1 week after the transaction and the product was already shipped out!
5) Square wouldn't release the funds... they wanted a photocopy of the card and the purchasers drivers license
a) Who photocopies the card and license when someone buys something?
b) This was an ONLINE eCommerce transaction that Square authorized at the time of sale, so how am I supposed to have acquired that information?!
For that last situation, I consider Square to be a deeply dishonest company that does NOT protect sellers from fraudulent transactions and will never under any circumstances ever use their services again.

Price is important, many of these POS systems are overly expensive. It is also important that it can integrate with our Big Commerce platform to remove inventory from online when it sells in the store.
I wouldn't change anything.

PayPal Zettle Support
| Pros | Cons |

Quick Resolution Good followup Knowledgeable team Problems get solved Kept well informed No escalation required Immediate help available Support understands my problem Support cares about my success Quick Initial Response | None |
No I did not
I called 4-5 times when first setting up the system as the instructions are incomplete and quite limited. They were very helpful and knowledgeable, and I never had to wait on hold to speak with someone. Each person I spoke with was a native English speaker, it was not some overseas rep reading from a manual that was hard to understand.
