Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use SAP BTP to build new applications. Our productive use case is using the Customer Portal service to design a portal for technicians. We are also using it to explore new innovation from SAP such as AI, OCR, Machine Learning and more. We have 2 main approaches; productive and exploration on 2 different BTP accounts.

Some examples of solutions built using SAP BTP are our customer portal services, which are available on desktop and mobile and accessed by multiple customers. This project has been built on BTP.

The delivery capabilities enabled with SAP BTP are great for us. The end product often works properly as expected. We face more difficulty in undesrtanding the SAP roadmap and the pricing options for different services. One other topic we struggle with is understanding which solutions exactly are in BTP, and which are separate cloud products from SAP.
