SAP S/4HANA Cloud - Great packaging, ugly content

While certainly cutting-edge in a way, many of the functions and features are still rough and not well thought out or nearly completed features at all. Many of the traditional things do not work as you expect them and it can be actually hindering having seniors that expect it to behave similarily. The better approach is to treat it like an all new product all together, however given that it is supposed to be enterprise-grade, this is a disappointing if not fatal point to conclude. Integrations are messy at best, many decisions lock you in, restores are not an option, many bugs and intransparencies cause conflict and confusion where it is not needed.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud takes both the best and worst aspects of being cutting edge, as it allows you to modernize your system landscape with the most recent technologies in a highly integrated manner. However this also conflicts with the existing software, both SAP and nonSAP being used, as customers not willing to spend highly on all the additional components around it will run into pains and bleeding as to integrate their exisiting landscape well with SAP S/4HANA Cloud. This is where the products turns bitter, as this is complex, time and effort intensive.
