Overall Satisfaction with StarWind Virtual SAN

I use StarWind Virtual SAN in my testing and development environment. This is usually where I practice a deployment using virtualization software like proxmox, ovirt, RedHat enterprise virtualization (rhev), vmware, and hyper-v. I also usually use raid technology like raid 0, raid 1, raid 5, raid 6, raid 10, raid 50, raid 60, etc. We also use iSCSI technology with iSCSI initiator and iSCSI target. With this, we also try if we should use multi-path technology when we use round robin. We also test thin and thick technology.

The management interface is good enough to use mostly the basics of Storage Area Network technology. It also has an iSCSI (Internet Small Computer System Interface) initiator and target technology. It also has a multipath with round robin and the least connection technology. Thin and thick provision. It can also be used as samba. It also offers NFS (network file system technology) for sharing. For block storage, you can use iSCSI. Creating volumes and LUN (logical unit number) is also good practice and feel and can compare to other storage.
