Overall Satisfaction with Windfall

In my opinion, this company is a disgrace. I have never left a public, negative review for a contractor due to the optics of doing so as a nonprofit leader. But, anyone who wishes to use Windfall should know about our experience. I signed a contract that clearly indicated the following: "Subscription End Date 12/31/2022." We have a small budget and spending $500 per year during a major capital campaign was a significant commitment. When the subscription term expired, I notified Windfall that we would not need to continue with the site and they informed me of a hidden clause in the small print of our contract stating that the period of time for me to cancel the subscription had passed, and that we owed them another year of payment. I think sneaking a hidden clause into contracts with small, nonprofit organizations is a horrible practice. I believe these people should be ashamed of themselves and I hope others will take this warning before contracting with Windfall.
