ClickUp is completely cloud-based which helps to manage my work from different places. Notion offers a desktop app but I faced difficulty syncing. Microsoft Planner was very handy but it lacks features compared to ClickUp. Wrike and Todoist are more focused on to-dos and face …
Chose ClickUp
If it's cheaper, it's probably better.

Product-wise, they struggle with some functionalities actually working and that's why I'd recommend either Wrike or Trello first. Wrike is visually not super appealing where-as ClickUp has a much better design / Color Palette. If you make …
Chose ClickUp
We are moving to Wrike for its superior reporting in my opinion. Our second choice was Forecast. Calculations can be done inside of fields. We can get instant sums and do customer reporting. The stand reports provide the basic minimum reporting of hours billable, detailed …
Chose ClickUp
I think it stacks fairly well with them, Jira can feel really complex at times, but at the same time, it gives some edge to Jira. Expert users can do a lot with Jira, but if you factor in the price of Jira+Plugins, ClickUp has so much value all in one package. Wrike, on the …
Chose ClickUp
It may have changed when our company used it but Wrike did not have easy time tracking, the easy automated ticket creation or project workflow capability as ClickUp. It also removed certain user views while ClickUp allows easy view customization.
Chose ClickUp
We selected ClickUp firstly for the ease of use of the platform. It was very simple and easy to understand. We also liked how ClickUp offered "Guest" seats for free so we could allow many employees to only view information in ClickUp without having to pay for a full license. …
Chose ClickUp
ClickUp offers more flexibility and customization, and the ability to share tasks and items between people and projects.
Chose ClickUp
Simplier to use, better visuals, more automations.
Chose ClickUp
ClickUp has the exact same features, and often many more, than the other competitors, and at a much lower price point. I used ClickUp's freemium version and preferred it to an upgraded version of Asana for several reasons. The customization opportunities are so plentiful that I …
Chose ClickUp
For smaller organizations it's my #1!
For larger and more complex user needs I generally lean towards Salesforce.
But overall and even for personal use I recommend ClickUp. The fact they are always trying to improve their platform and offerings gives them leg up in my books. I …
Chose ClickUp
These apps are good, but ClickUp is GREAT. ClickUp even allows you to move all your existing work from other apps into their platform. I have used those other apps, but ClickUps power-packed features and ease of use in building in growing in its use is second to none in my …
Chose ClickUp
ClickUp is better than other project management tools because it's got everything you need in one place, it's super user-friendly, and it's more affordable compared to other all-in-one project management solutions out there. Plus, it integrates with tons of other tools you …
Chose ClickUp
Better/easy automation and setup for custom spaces and fields. More customization features such as ID numbers for tasks. Very simple onboarding while others needed large fees, months of setup and/or additional software requirements. Love that this is all web based.
Chose ClickUp
ClickUp is a very complete tool that brings together almost all the functions that other task managers contain. We know that there are some very simple and others more complex. ClickUp goes from the simple to the more complex. No matter the size of your project, ClickUp can …
Chose ClickUp
I was searching for a tool that managed various level of tasks folders (and subfolders) in order to organize a very diversified job. I was also looking for a tool with a view that allowed me to see what i have to do today (not perfect in ClickUp but better than in other)
Chose ClickUp
I love that there are more advanced features like checklists, subtasks, recurring due dates, custom fields, time-tracking, docs, task-linking, goals, dashboards, users & teams, email integration, integration customizations, automation, various view options, filtering & sorting, …
Chose ClickUp
ClickUp is better than the ones above. It is full of functionalities and is super fast at the same time. It allows clear management of work. It also allows clear communication between teams ensuring things do not get missed. No one should consider the above tools over ClickUp. …
Chose ClickUp
Click Up is far more user-friendly than other products I have used. The customizations, integrations, and interface are more in-depth and savvy without making you feel overwhelmed by technology.
Chose ClickUp
ClickUp has a powerful and simple UI, that allows us to combine the effective components of other platforms into a single one.
Chose ClickUp
When our team evaluated potential project management tools, some of which individuals had used personally or in other work settings, we found that ClickUp offered the broadest range of features that were important to us. The different views, in particular, were a selling point …
Chose ClickUp
ClickUp is advanced enough to support power users and project management professionals, while flexible enough to allow users with fewer requirements to get the job done in the same tool, and the same space.
Chose ClickUp
I have also tested Factro. I have tested all the above tools and have chosen ClickUp, because it has offered me the greatest scope.
Chose ClickUp
There were a lot of reasons why we decided to go for Clickup. It delivered the best value for money, giving us maximum flexibility in terms of customizing our task lists, easy onboarding, and enough guest seats. What made switching to ClickUp really easy was the great import …
Wrike
Chose Wrike
Personally, I have worked the most with Asana (almost four years). I love Asana, and I think their platform is really beautiful and user-friendly. It has a great UX and design to it, so as a creative, I favor it over the rest of the project management software. monday.com is …
Chose Wrike
I'm not sure how our company chose Wrike over other products like it when we first started using it. I know part of our company was using Asana and we transitioned everyone off of that platform onto Wrike. This not only saved us money at the time, but we were able to do more …
Chose Wrike
I evaluated Wrike against Monday, Asana, ClickUp, Kintone, and SmartSheets. Wrike had the most robust request form, approval process, and automation engine. All others fell short in 1 or more of those items. Wrike came built with all the necessary tools inside Wrike, other …
Chose Wrike
Wrike does not stack up against Monday or ClickUp. That is why we left Wrike. Navigation in Monday and ClickUp is fast and easy. Creating tasks is a breeze and very easy to follow. Resourcing is easy. Creating different forms within each is simple and very useful. Integration …
Chose Wrike
We selected Wrike because they met our needs and passed our security concerns and were able to work with our (often bureaucratic) procurement team.
Chose Wrike
Except Todoist, which is more geared toward a personal to do list (rather than team project management), every other similar product I've used is better than Wrike in every way. They're all more user friendly and intuitive and easier to visualize project progress.
Chose Wrike
The aspect of collaboration and delegating/monitoring progression is what is a one up against other project management softwares in the same space. Others also have similar functionalities but not quite as well as Wrike in my honest opinion. Overall, this is the main function I …
Chose Wrike
  • I was most familiar with Wrike and knew that I could support our initial team of users during our rollout.
  • Wrike is the most feature-rich
  • Wrike handles roles and permissions perfectly
Chose Wrike
I think that Wrike is a better project management tool for mid-to-large size organizations because it's easier to use and offers better complex task management tools – and it's especially good for managing production projects that must meet certain deadlines to please investors.
Chose Wrike
The interfaces of the other PM systems have way too many layers to get to what you need. Wrike allows you to easily get to what you need without having to dig around too much.
Chose Wrike
Please see the "Pros" that I gave Wrike. It's a very advanced, feature-rich, yet elegant piece of software that can grow with many companies as they complexify. Almost everything else that I use feels extremely limited and primitive by comparison, often slower and more buggy too.
Chose Wrike
Wrike is loaded with collaboration features and information management capabilities that make the solution a one hub for all the teams work. The high level of security measures make it ideal for keeping project information secure and that no unauthorized personnel can access …

ClickUp
ClickUp is fantastic for a company that has a strong emphasis on execution and project management. ClickUp feature set is amongst one of the strongest in the industry. As a software business, we require this sort of feature set for things like sprints, GANTT, agile and much more. ClickUp can be daunting for companies that are looking for basic project management without the bells and whistles. There are other project management providers that have a much simpler platform. If you are a fast growing dynamic tech company I really don't see another option that rivals ClickUp

Wrike
My organization used Google Sheets to work with subbies, but we've since switched to Wrike. It is user friendly, has formulas and customizable fields. Wrike has been a lifesaver because instead of sharing Google Sheets with external customers and typically they messing up - deleting formulas, users can simply fill out a request form without logging into Wrike . All details are displayed in a table view, making management much easier.

Pros
ClickUp
  • Allows you to create dashboards to track your team and company's progress towards its goals.
  • Integrates docs and forms so we don't need to switch apps
  • Notifications about every update, so you never really need to go asking around for one.
  • Allows you to visualize deadlines, how each piece of work fits into the bigger picture, and see in real-time what's holding your team up

Wrike
  • Wrike has been consistent in emailing any updates or changes to each person involved in each task.
  • Wrike has a simple to navigate website, with quick access to each task.
  • Wrike keeps all data files located at the top of the task for quick reference, which makes it easier for each team member to find.
  • Wrike adds date tags as well as any edited or deleted notes where we are able to cross-reference any major changes that may have been made.

Cons
ClickUp
  • The mobile app is confusing to use and does not represent a mobile version of the web app.
  • Some new features are included with the current plan and some you have to pay extra for.
  • Learning curve can be a bit much for non-digital native users.

Wrike
  • The email notifications that are automatically sent from Wrike when something is done are easy for users to miss or ignore.
  • Reporting can be limited. You have to create workarounds for collecting/storing the name of the person submitting the form in instances where they do not have their own Wrike license.
  • A more user-friendly interface, especially for those less familiar with project management software, would enhance overall accessibility.

We're very pleased with how the system works in general. For over a year we've barely ever had any problems with ClickUp and there might have only been one or two times when it wasn't operational for us due to a global emergency. Moreover, when we had a problem once with renewing our licenses we've been contacted directly by our account manager and taken care of in a very professional way (with a due refund as well). The exceptional customer service makes us firmly believe that ClickUp is just the right tool for us.

I wish that Wrike had more drag and drop functionality that would be connected to assignee and also I wish that the finish date of a task would update to the date where you checked completed. It does not do that. Also finishing a task doesn't move the start date of the next task it "protects your time in that way", but our management team wants us to quickly see what we have down the pipeline rather than having to scroll down the list of upcoming tasks.

Usability
ClickUp
Far easier to use than any other PM tool. ClickUp is incredibly intuitive and had us saving time and energy within the first week of implementation. In my opinion, PM software should make it easier to focus on the deliverables - it shouldn't take all your time and energy to learn how to use the tool in the first place. ClickUp is a user-friendly tool that actually helps us focus on what's important.

Wrike, overall, is pretty easy to setup and use. I still find challenges in changing milestone dates but our programs / date changes are different than industry standard so that is partly the issue. We love the Excel look along with the dashboards! There are also built in analytics that really assist in seeing where the projects are!

Reliability and Availability
ClickUp
For over a year ClickUp was unavailable to us just twice for a couple of hours. I would say for a system this big and working globally that was a minor issue. They managed to fix all the issues within a couple hours and then it was back up and running perfectly fine.

Over two years of (almost) daily usage without outages. Don't remember any errors. I give it 9 only because some Wrike plugins (for online document edit) are based on NPAPI architecture. These types of plugins are being phased out in new browsers, and NPAPI plugins are disabled by default in recent versions of Chrome so you have to do some browser adjustments when you switch browsers or move to another computer.

Performance
ClickUp
I understand that it's a beast and does a lot of things, which is probably why it's laggy. But I do find it takes longer than I'd like to load, and if I am sending a complex document to a client or team member they aren't quite sure if they're getting the right thing at first. This is actually a pretty significant problem - my biggest beef with ClickUp.

Wrike tasks loads fine, but I hate clicking files and wait for a bit of time since it is powerpoint or word, Wrike assumes I want to open those on Wrike. My suggestion is to link it to office 365 so we do not need Wrike based decoder for PPTX and DOCX

ClickUp
ClickUp support is incredible! They respond quickly with any questions about my issue, provide a timeline, and elaborate on how they will solve my problem. They are incredibly respectful and accommodating. Whenever I run into an issue, I know that ClickUp support will be happy to answer any questions and help my team out. When I start a support ticket, I know that I won't be getting sent article recommendations, I will be speaking to their customer support team immediately

Support is very quickly and they want to solve problems actively. When I need additional info I can use community forum, when I've an issue I can use support form to get help. The support is of excellent quality from the first level, to grow when you talk to the engineers it becomes even more important

There are a lot of bells and whistles in Wrike, and not all of it is easy or intuitive to understand once it's plopped in your lap. It's easier when there are a few choice people who understand Wrike as a platform and articulate it in such a way where it makes it easy to pass it along to others in the group

They are all very similar, but ClickUp was easier to use. The UX design is great, everything falls into place. I didn’t have to train anyone from the team on how to use it. They easily understood how it works. It’s simple, clear and straightforward. Every move you make, it’s actually what you expect it to do.

I have not used other products except Microsoft Teams channels with file sharing and standard sharing from Adobe, text and email messaging, and Zoom/gotomeeting sharing. This is the first product that I have used that had the functionality and platform where the sharing is simplistic. It is better than standard sharing through email or other simple forms because everything stays together.
