Chose Dropbox
Superior. It has the best of each of these options.
Chose Dropbox
Inertia has been one of the reasons we're reluctant to switch. But that's a caution for us AND Dropbox.
Chose Dropbox
As mentioned earlier, I think Google Drive offers a more full service option from creating a doc, redline edits and sharing it.
Chose Dropbox
Faster sync with Dropbox but account amangement easier with the rest and a lot cheaer to run so better ROI and easier for an MSP to use. As we're a reseller our experience with dropbox was not great from migrations to us or even maanging this

Chose Dropbox Business
Dropbox is easy to use when there's a need to move data for backing up (drag and drop); others you need to click and upload and [it's a] slower process.
Chose Dropbox Business
Dropbox seemed to stack up better against Box and seems to have less bugs and crashes. I would definitely recommend Dropbox Business over Box and other competitors.

Also very helpful and with a much better version control, accordingly no file conflicts. Unhelpful in respect to large file being easily accessible as they are not offline. Although this apparently has changed now.
Chose Dropbox Business
The 1Tb storage on the paying version made us select this one over the others.
Chose Dropbox Business
Google Drive is just better. The only thing Dropbox has over it is the desktop app, and I'd argue that it doesn't outweigh the benefits you get from being able to collaborate on Drive.
Chose Dropbox Business

Chose Microsoft SharePoint
Dropbox and Facebook both are very easy to do the same thing with. I don't know what the pricing is for Sharepoint, or what king of controls are on the back-end, so my knowledge on the back-end of Sharepoint is very limited. As a user, they seem very similar and easy to use.
Chose Microsoft SharePoint
MS SharePoint offers far more beyond just document sharing like Google Drive or Dropbox. It allows our company to collaboate and complete tasks in a timely manner. It is a more robust solution and offers better security, customization, and scalability than other solutions.
Chose Microsoft SharePoint
MS SharePoint lags behind its competitors in most areas. While it does offer more functionality, such as custom sites, MS SharePoint's bogged-down sharing system really hurts it. While sharing documents with coworkers, outside contractors, and guests is hassle-free with Google …

Chose Microsoft SharePoint
Dropbox has been used, but this is strictly for getting files from point A to point B with them being backed up. It is great and has great integration with the file explorer to access files. Adobe Sign is great for documents needing signatures but only serves this one purpose.
Chose Microsoft SharePoint
Egnyte is the superior solution due to the way it segments data and provides a holistic approach to sharing and access. Microsoft SharePoint provides this a bit but could improve but the value of Microsoft SharePoint is greater given it is included in our subscription.
Chose Microsoft SharePoint
Microsoft SharePoint definitely has the highest ranking for use with MS Office packages and integration into Windows devices--mobile or normal desktop devices. The cost for Microsoft SharePoint is also competitive in comparison and with local hosting options within APAC regions.
Chose Microsoft SharePoint
SharePoint was selected primarily because of its inherent integration with MS Office. The other tools were easier to use and easier to set up, but not selected because they were a third-party integration with Office.

We have looked at several cloud file sharing solutions. Limited configuration features and resistance from IT departments to allow cloud file sharing access make MS SharePoint the solution with a broader acceptance across partners.

Dropbox
Dropbox is well suited for sending File Requests to clients to upload documents, and for me to send File Transfers to clients with documents for them to download. I can create separate files for each client, and also create files within files, which is very convenient and useful for my business purposes. In Dropbox I can also see all of the File Requests that I have sent and it shows me how many times they've accessed it and how many files they uploaded. I can also see all of the File Transfers that I have made and whether how many times the client has accessed it and how many documents were downloaded. It also sends me notifications if the clients haven't downloaded their files yet so I can remind them. Dropbox Sign has been very easy to use, and I have already stated what could be changed with it

Everywhere as aforementioned it is well suited ... The largest and most appropriate... A business can never ever have too many locations of its data stored. This option allows my company to have our data stored in one location and everyone works it in real time whereas the updates go in "Real time" no matter who is working that file. This is the most awesome trick of the entire program not to mention that I can see everything that Bobbiesue is working on out west at the same time pull another activity report to see if indeed Peggy logged in for work from home at 2p yesterday as she stated she did. Its a check and balance for small businesses such as ours that runs on the honor system for telework employees. At this time, there just is not any less appropriate!

SharePoint Document Management excels as a central repository for storing, organising, and retrieving documents. It supports version control, metadata tagging, secure access, and integration with tools like Power Automate. At our organisation, it's used for managing contracts, policies, and supplier documents. SharePoint Workflow Automation integrates with Power Automate to streamline approvals, gather feedback, and automate recurring tasks. This reduces reliance on email chains and manual trackers.

Pros
Dropbox
  • I can share projects I need feedback on.
  • I can make projects available to editors so that they can do their work.
  • Dropbox is a place where I can store files that I can access from anywhere, even if I don't have my laptop with me at the time.
  • I have an old friend who is an acting professor in Tokyo. He loves the dialogue that I write in my novels. He converts chapters into scenework for his acting students. They get very excited when there's new material!

  • I deeply dislike the navigation. I find it very clunky and hard and not intuitive. A few years ago Dropbox redesigned its navigation and I'm frequently at a loss to figure out where to access the option I need.
  • It should be quicker and easier to figure out how to send a file. I wish I could do that from the drop-down menu in my taskbar under the Dropbox logo.
  • I wish I had the option under the same drop-down menu in my taskbar under the Dropbox logo to go to where the files are on my laptop, which I find much easier to navigate.

  • Windows Explorer users have some difficulty having to constantly UPLOAD / DOWNLOAD files. Specifically on the DOWNLOAD when they are used to Drag & Drop in & out of LOCAL folders via Window's explorer.
  • Microsoft SharePoint supports multiple "library" types. When implementing our "image" library the search function is done via "tags" and boolean logic. This is challenging to most end users. I'd like our users to be able to search our Microsoft SharePoint image library without having to enter KEYWORD or other BOOLEAN logic.
  • Microsoft SharePoint can also be an internal website for each department or company wide communication tool but I believe these features are geared for much larger organizations. Since we are a SMB we really aren't using these features. So maybe something more useful to SMBs would be nice.

Dropbox is really useful, you can access any file from anywhere and you can upload and even edit files online, but, sometimes it can be slow. The Dropbox site and tools load in a reasonable amount of time. I don't feel like their site and app performance is any better or worse than any other paid product that I've seen offered by any other large company. The implementation was actually very simple. Again, as stated previously, the most intriguing part of the entire exercise was the implementation of the directory structure for each account. Once you design and implement it for one, it becomes quite simple to replicate for each account you implement thereafter. You just really need to take time to ensure you implement the first perfectly and those that follow on will be likewise work efficiently and easily.
