Givebutter is completely free thanks to 100% optional tips received from donors. If you'd prefer to hide tips, an industry-low Platform Fee applies instead based on the campaign type you’re using (1% for donation form, 3% for fundraising pages, and 5% for events). No matter which option you choose, all transactions include standard Processing Fees of 2.9% + 30¢ for all payment methods except ACH, which offers a reduced rate of 1.9% + 30¢ per transaction. These fees are charged by payment processors and allow funds to be deposited into your account regardless of what payment method your donors choose. More than 95% of donors on Givebutter cover fees when asked, resulting in an average campaign fee of less than 1%.

If you treat all of your donors the same and do not do much segmented communication, Virtuous is great for you! if you do need segmentation, they need to improve their email marketing software. Nothing about Virtuous stands out as significantly unique compared to the others.
