Likelihood to Recommend In our specific use case we used IMS to manage the investor acquisition process and manage reporting going forward. Basically, it's a powerful, real-estate focused CRM that understands our pain points and issues. Additionally, it was cost efficient for our organization since we weren't using any of the waterfall technology, nor did we have extensive complicated ownership structures that we needed to import. We were essentially starting from the beginning, with very few implementation needs. In this situation, the software worked perfectly. We have been very happy with the service and technology. That said, if you have an extensive investor relations apparatus and need something that requires a tremendous amount of implementation (i.e. an entire, existing, investor management system) it may be a more difficult process
Read full review It is extremely well suited to client management in the insurance and financial services industries. I think it would not be nearly as useful in a retail setting as many of the features would be irrelevant.

Redtail CRM has a feature to input notes and comments on particular clients in order to keep track of communications with and steps taken for those clients. Those notes can be easily accessed across the firm. Redtail CRM allows all email communications to be stored in a safe and secure manner as well as making those communications accessible on demand. IMS came to the top for us because of our specific use case (i.e. less implementation needs, primarily investor acquisition and investor management). Also, at the time, IMS was way more cost effective for the functionality that was offered compared to its immediate competitors
Read full review Quite honestly, I have visibility into a number of CRM systems and Redtail stands alone as the strongest contender. It has the most thorough and customizable interface of any I have encountered. There are few other tools that offer the unmatched flexibility and the depth that any business could stand to profit from.

With Redtail, you don't have to worry about losing information. Just pull up the customer's profile and make some notes on what is going on. You can never be too detailed in the advisor industry. The integration ability at Redtail really saves us heaps of time. You can feed information over from the custodian straight over to another 3rd party. API is game changing!
