Webex Meetings is a video conferencing solution powering hybrid work. It enables a seamless collaboration experience and better results with meetings that are designed to give everyone the ability to engage no matter their location, language, or communication style.
ON24 blows Webex Meetings and GoToMeeting out of the water for reliability. Zoom is comparable for performance but can't match the branding and flexibility offered by ON24. If you only have small meetings, Zoom may meet your needs okay, but for any meeting over a couple dozen …
ON24 provides way more opportunities for customization of the virtual spaces. ON24 has an efficient process for uploading resources and making them accessible to the attendees. ON24 has more protection measures to ensure only registered clients can attend the sessions. ON24 …
I think when it comes to the list of features that you want for your webinar platform, ON24 checks more boxes than any other provider. It's not perfect. We will likely use a different platform when we need the audience to be able to come off mute but that's really our only …
I have found ON24 to be the most reliable, easy to use, and intuitive platform. It's great to have cheat sheets and tools to send to my presenters who may have never used ON24 before that day. Other platforms are confusing or have too many steps involved. ON24 makes it easy to …
The ON24 webinars is simple to use and is constantly updated to keep up with new technologies. Their assistance is typically valuable. I really like the webinars they provide. It always tells us what technology we might be employing or adding to our day-to-day operations, and …
ON24 offers more branding, better service, and more interactive elements than the other systems. Additionally, joining events is much easier with ON24 than with other platforms.
Far better for branded presentation events. We will still use others for smaller, boutique screen-sharing types of demo events. And we do not worry about performance. Technical glitches with another platform (s) were the primary reason we started to look at On24, and it has …
We selected the ON24 platform because of the ability because of the Sim-2-Live feature and because of the certificate creation feature. Those speakers that present material are usually familiar with typical conference call platforms like Zoom and Webex. They are not familiar …
By customizing the look and feel for our clients, we can create company-branded appearances. We can adjust background images in the console to the current theme or customize functionalities (e.g. download, email contact). Each webinar gets its own individual appearance.

The quality of ON24 surpasses other similar software. I especially like the dashboard view for attendees. It is engaging and easy to use. Users can download materials, explore links, chat, and use Q&A without having to navigate to a different window allowing for a seamless …
In the end, it boiled down to video quality and ease of use. The video had to be in HD and stay in sync, plus it had to be easy for a contractor to sign in and participate. ON24 gave me the ability to customize the user experience. I could pre-set the user dashboard, but they …
I think ON24 is superior to both Webex and Adobe webinar products because, at its price point, it is very customizable, easy to use, and offers great reporting features.
Reliability and mobile access are better with ON24. Recording and repository management is much better with ON24. Ability to play different file formats (video mainly) and support for broader slide animation and the transition was better with WebEx.
ON24 is a lot more complete, interactive and reliable than the other tools we have used. The Simu-live option made a huge difference to our scalability, bringing our team to the next level. Also, little things like the waiting music for participants prior to the meeting made a …
We actually use a variety of the offerings. We have a few Join.me accounts because sometimes that is easier for calling/screen sharing meetings. We opted against UberConference because although it was the most cost-effective, we found calls were being dropped regularly. For …
Cisco Webex Meetings is by far the front runner when compared to the products above in cost, ease of use, and quality of experience for our end-users. Cisco Webex Meetings' intuitive client and web interface make it easy for users who have never used it to come up to speed with …
Webex is the bottom of the barrel for all of the webinar tools we have purchased or tested. We inherited Webex in company acquisition. I would never select it and never recommend it.
I have used other tools that are comparable to WebEx MC but I have not evaluated them. Previous to my role at PwC, I had not used WebEx MC. In my previous position the company used the Microsoft tool suite including MS Lync for virtual collaboration. I've not used Lync …
Webex Meetings and ON24 are both software designed to help businesses create web conferences. Webex meetings is a web and video conferencing software designed to help businesses host both internal meetings and larger conferences with customers or partners. ON24 is a webinar software that can host large amounts of people for webinars or business wide meetings. Both tools are popular with mid sized businesses and large enterprises.
Features
Webex Meetings and ON24 both allow businesses to host video conferences, but they also have a few standout features that set them apart from each other.
Webex Meetings can handle the conferencing needs of most businesses, providing high quality audio and video for smaller internal meetings. For less experienced users, Webex Meetings provides an easy to use interface for setting up meetings and allows users to join with a single click. Administrators can also make use of Webex Meetings analytics features to track metrics such as attendance and when users join and leave meetings.
ON24 can host smaller internal meetings but is designed to handle large enterprises. ON24 is accessible to users without downloading an application. New users can access an ON24 meeting through an internet browser. Additionally, ON24 includes features like webinar registration tracking. For organizations that frequently host large conferences, ON24 provides dedicated support.
Limitations
Webex Meetings and ON24 both include essential web conferencing features, but they also have some limitations that are important to consider.
Webex Meetings offers high quality visuals and audio, but it doesn’t support webinars in the same way ON24 does. Users that haven’t used Webex Meetings before will have to download an application in order to attend a meeting. Additionally, Webex Meetings doesn’t provide any built in support for webinar registration tracking. Businesses that want to use Webex Meetings for larger events may consider other options or integrate it with the Webex Events application.
On24 provides excellent support for webinars, but does not provide a more inexpensive tool for smaller meetings. Additionally, ON24 provides limited features for smaller web conferences such as high quality video for all participants. For businesses that primarily need to support smaller web conferences, rather than webinars, other tools may be more affordable.
Pricing
Webex Meetings offers several business pricing plans, starting at $13.50 per month per host for up to 100 meeting participants. As price increases, maximum number of participants increases as well.
On24 pricing is not detailed publicly, but businesses can reach out to vendors for a detailed quote.

I find that ON24 caters for all types of organisations, having it allows for more choice/options. The experience around virtual events if fantastic and the ON24 team is constantly improving the platform. If you want to run a virtual events programme where you want to generate leads and track engagement, then ON24 is the platform for you
The first reason is the ease of use and availability, which makes WebEx work for all. The quality of audio and video is adorable. As a business development associate, I must make an impression on the other side, and WebEx helps me make first impressions. A few features are complex for new users but can be resolved.
There was a recent update within the past year where the UX designer or developer thought it would be best to wide all titles from the audience view until they placed their mouse on top of the window. That was the worst mistake, as we have a moderator script where we tell the audience what each of the tool bars are and they can’t grasp what the tool is without putting their mouse there. From an accessibility standpoint point, it’s back to 1999 when there was no laws about accessibility.
Number one above is a major pain point.
ON24 needs to do a better job of introducing features and soliciting feedback from their customers vs making a high impactful change like #1 described above.
Only a few options are there for non-verbal feedback like hand raising or emoji reactions. They should work on it as expressing understanding or agreement would help collaborate with the cross-functional teams.
More options for creating custom workflows and integrations with internal tools would be helpful and the whiteboard also looks basic compared to other similar tools. I think, adding features like sticky notes and freehand drawing would be a great boost.
The mobile app is functional but I find it less intuitive and feature-rich compared to the desktop version. Should have parity in features and a more user-friendly interface will become more helpful for mobile users like me who sometimes conduct or attend meetings on the go.
ON24 is everything we expected and everything we needed. It's simple to use, extremely customizable, and scales very easily. The integration to our CRM makes ON24 major lead generator for our sales team from our established webinars series. We can automate lead delivery to our sales team as well. If anything, we will look to expand our partnership in the future.
Because Webex Meetings is known for its consistent performance, with high quality audio and video that works well even in low bandwidth situations. This makes it a dependable tool for both small and large meetings without worrying about technical glitches. Also, the platform is easy to navigate, both for meeting hosts and participants. Features like screen sharing, chat, and breakout rooms are intuitive
97% of our attendees say it is the best trainings they have every attended. But they other 3% have a horrible experience (while watching the event live) interesting fact. On24 uses two different encoders for live vs OnDemand. I have never had issues with the On-Demand experience. My only complaints come during live events
Webex Meetings does not provide enough audio feedback for users with visual disabilities to properly navigate the tool. Students, faculty, and staff who are blind or have low vision may not be able to use Webex Meetings. Users with motor disabilities that navigate via keyboard, may not be able to navigate the web conferencing session enough to participate fully.
ON24 is always available when I have a question about a new feature, if I'm having issues during a live webinar, or if I'm having issues with a webinar on the backend. Our client support specialist, Heather Haines, has always been incredibly consistent with getting me the answers I need when I need them.
So personally I have never faced any kind of meeting unavailability issue while scandaling meeting with WebEx the bandwidth is really good and in terms of application performance the same is my opinion what I mentioned for availability it is good and the objective of communication is quite fruitfully achieved with a simple and effective product like WebEx which is often bundled with the purchase of course which is which we have at our company and great discount is being offered so it is easy on our pocket. I really don't have any specific errors which have faced I should mention over here the operation or application uses is quite smooth.
Sometimes (it may be my computer) i cant login to ON24. I create a new PW and then i still cant get in. I clear cache/try new browser etc. and nothing works. I come back in a few hours and its like the problem never existed, its the strangest thing. Outside of that everything works pretty seamless. We've ran into a few bumps with Marketo talking to ON24 and passing reg through but have that figured out now. Not being able to be on a VPN when connecting to webcam on the presenter side does cause issues for our government speakers.
We use browsers to join Webex Meetings and it is very good no issue also appears from Webex APP is very organized and does not consume more resources of PC so no issues appeared. We join audio and video in many ways, all of which are good. We integrated it with active Microsoft Exchange with easy deployment.
ON24 support is really good with the 24/5 support chat line, where someone actually responds within 30 seconds. The customers success team is also really good and our rep is very helpful with all our questions. Whenever we have more technical questions, she will bring on a IT designer or a tech specialist on our calls for additional comments and help.
The support cases can be opened instantly. The support engineers can support you via Telephone, E-Mail, WebEx Meetings, and My favorite WebEx application.24X7 Availability of the engineers. Step-by-step guidance is available by an engineer. https://help.webex.com/ - Great Site for instant FAQ's. https://status.webex.com/ - Is helpful to identify the updated schedule of WebEx or to know the server status of WebEx services.
It was straight to the point and very informative. effective training often includes clear explanations, hands-on practice opportunities, time for questions and answers, real-world examples, and follow-up support. If you're trying to assess the quality of a specific training session, you might consider these factors. For organizations looking to assess the quality of their in-person training, it's best to solicit feedback directly from the participants. This can be done through anonymous surveys or feedback sessions, enabling the organization to gather firsthand information and improve future training sessions accordingly.
On24 has amazing ON-Demand trainings that you can use at anytime and they walk you through step by step on different topics/ they are always updating and innovating and putting out new trainings. I would highly reccomend the trainings and reading the documents they have created. They also do live webinars on a rolling basis that are filled with so much knowledge and Information
It was very interactive and well explained. The trainor is very much knowledgeable of the product. He was able to answer all of our inquiries in a timely and professional manner. There were lots of exercises done during the duration of the training to ensure that we have a better view on what to expect from the product.
We had a few training's, which were broken up, and focused on specific areas of how to use the platform. Mostly though, a lot of it is just dedicating your time to learning and exploring what the possibilities are for enhancing your webinars
That we needed complex implementation that we didn't get tells me 2 things: 1) the product was not designed in a way that "just worked" like some of its peers (Zoom / BlueJeans) and 2) had our company defined actual user needs and validated / verified that they had bought something that matched those, we would have pursued features / designs more closely aligned with what the product actually does: screen share, sometimes video, definitely VOIP audio (always an option regardless of license), and easy recording and retrieval of meetings.
From what I've seen, ON24 is built specifically to meet the needs of event marketing (or marketing generally), versus the other platforms which are more about simply providing a mechanism to hold virtual meetings. The integration with sales and marketing systems is really valuable. I don't know about pricing differences, but if the competitors were comparable, I would still select ON24.
The ability to transfer multimedia files directly into the platform and a very robust free plan helped me make the decision to try out Webex Meetings. Easy to set up in a company environment and accessible once the learning curve and sign up process are complete. In-platform web navigating is also a nice feature when onboarding new staff or doing market research.
The ON24 platform is straightforward to use and train clients on, which is a huge plus. Clients appreciate its features and simplicity. Internally, we receive valuable analytical data from webinar events, enabling the organization to make data-driven decisions. This helps us optimize strategies and drive success for B2B businesses effectively.
I work for a Fortune 500 company with many employees so I can testify to its usability for large corporations. In addition, I use the software within my small team of sales reps so it is always usable on a small scale as well. In my eyes, this tool is scalable for businesses of all sizes without any hiccups or issues.
The costly nature of individual accounts across multiple schools made it difficult to maintain the budget when our student population grew exponentially.
Often communicated to clients and stakeholders that we were a trustworthy and elevated provider.
Limited engagement and interactive features with students often contributed to complaints around student engagement and buy-in.
