Its well suited for early warnings; wellness checks; repeatable long-term duration events. ITs easy to train admins on it. I dont really see any less appropriate uses -- you may not want to use it for EVERYTHING or people ignore messages. So your admins need to be smart about deploying its capabilities. but it has never let me down.
