Great central signature management platform

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We currently use Exclaimer for signature management within our organisation, along with selling and configuring the product for our clients.

We use it to design, roll out signatures along with seasonal promotions, etc., etc. This covers both our internal use and client.

Pros

  • Central Signature Management
  • Setting up of the signature with Google or Microsoft
  • Signature Design/Templates

Cons

  • A CSS Editor or the ability to use html etc. to design rather then only WYSIWYG editor
  • UI could do with some work, some things are difficult to find but once you get used to it, it's fine

Return on Investment

  • Time saved through central management
  • Using it as a marketing tool

Exclaimer

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Exclaimer has enabled us to have a congruent approach to our email signatures. We have created a structure that is consistent amongst all staff and our regularly changing banners are easy to adjust on the Exclaimer portal. I am really pleased with the way the user customisation works, users are able to add their own details whilst the Exclaimer template maintains the structure of the signature. This has saved us a lot of time as well as ensuring a professional looking signature for all staff.

Pros

  • Congruent structure of email signature
  • User customisation
  • Easy to use portal

Cons

  • The ability to add multiple campaigns
  • Integration with other applications
  • Better options for meeting banners

Return on Investment

  • Simplified signature management
  • Easy to use click statistics
  • A more professional look

Centralized Signature Management

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Exclaimer automatically adds centrally managed signatures to all our emails on mobile devices and web access mail, saving us time and hassle previously spent managing signatures manually on all user devices.

Pros

  • Excellent interface for creating and managing signature content
  • Extensive set of options to personalise signature content with data synced from our on-premise Active Directory to Microsoft 365.
  • Multiple signatures available to allow users to switch signature branding via the Exclaimer Outlook add-in.

Cons

  • Exclaimer has intrusive pop-ups to remind you to save changes. A simple asterisk against each item would be sufficient.
  • Having to navigate back to the main menu page rather than directly jumping between signature groups is annoying.

Return on Investment

  • Time saved is the no.1 biggest win for me personally.
  • Consistent and up-to-date signatures across the company globally is the biggest benefit the business sees.

Exclaimer - Signature Management Made Easy

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have nearly 90 users spread over 5 nationwide offices and remote workers as well. Getting access to individual machines to make signature changes was always a lot of effort. Centralising signatures with Exclaimer has bought us a lot of time back that can be used on other IT endeavours. Because it has become centralised we have also expanded our usage of marketing content in signatures using the amazing campaigns feature.

Pros

  • Centralisation
  • Remote Install
  • Amazing Support Team

Cons

  • User interface of the template editor can be a little clunky
  • Allowing campaigns to be loaded in different positions

Return on Investment

  • Time Saved
  • Increased Dynamic Marketing
  • Greater User Engagement

An effective and customisable solution for your mail signature requirements

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have been using Exclaimer at a range of organisations and have always been happy with service provided.

As there are a range of companies and business units at my organisation, a streamlined avenue to dynamically allocate signatures is required.

The ability to graphically view the signatures and customise allocation based on a range of rule sets is very beneficial and flexible.

Pros

  • It is not often that I've need to contact support, however I recently needed to reach out regarding some billing changes. Helped by Lalita and the team, an excellent outcome was achieved. There was an excellent understanding of what needed to be corrected and they worked in well with myself to resolve.
  • The graphical interface to edit the signatures is highly effective.
  • It's very useful to be able to use the simulation tool to test how the signature will look in a range of scenarios.

Cons

  • Old templates have been locked and require intervention from the support team to migrate to the new format.
  • I get a lot of comments around not seeing the signature until after the email has been sent, but I have not had time to investigate a solution.
  • The container functionality in the signature editor can be problematic.

Return on Investment

  • As a larger organisation, we have a requirement to mandate signature, but cannot be reliant on end-user involvement.
  • Guaranteed consistency of branding is definitely of value.
  • This is not something that we would desire to take on in-house.
