  • The impact on ROI has been positive since it allowed us to reduce time to make commercial decisions that had an effect on increasing sales.
  • The impact was positive since having certainty of the maintenance costs and from the fourth year it becomes fixed and at the same time keep the equipment updated. that's of great value

  • Very little management after initial setup.
  • It is quite expensive, so we haven't noticed an ROI on hardware costs, but many less man hours are required to manage the FlashArrays.
  • The performance provided using a FlashArray over legacy SAN, is probably the biggest ROI we see.
  • The minimal amount of space required of a Flash Array saves on data enter rack space.

  • The Pure arrays allowed us to consolidate from over 30-40 mixed vendor arrays to under 10 flash arrays, saving costs on support contracts.
  • The Pure Arrays allowed us to offer modern, high tier storage offerings to new and existing customers, making us look more attractive to new customers and also increase contract spend on existing customers.
  • The Pure Arrays allowed us to simplify our infrastructure offerings and allowed more employees to be able to effectively maintain the hardware.

  • We have replace a complicated replication process, understood by only one person, with an easier process of replicated snapshots for remote replication.
  • We have consolidated several monolithic storage systems into FlashArray, reducing capital costs.
  • We have improved our data protection with snapshots and Active Cluster.

  • I don't worry about the system as much as I worry about our other storage solutions. It allows me to focus more on the other systems and spend less time worrying about the other.

  • Due to the lack of necessity of a storage admin, that has been a huge impact on things.
  • Not needing to be so involved with upgrades and how seamless everything is makes things so much easier
  • There have been zero issues so luckily, knock on wood, we have yet to have any issues whatsoever from the product!

  • We used to run an HP LeftHand P4000 SAN which had more problems more often than not. We have not had a single issue with our Pure SANs in the 5 years we have had them. So from the business objective of uptime and uninterrupted working, Pure wins hands down.
  • We do a lot of intensive SQL work and Pure has enabled us to be more productive in terms of database restores and testing environments as restoring LUNs from snapshots and having them take up no more disk space is invaluable for us.

  • Thanks to the deduplication that is built into the product we are seeing great reduction in total space required by consolidating similar data types on the same array.
  • Our users are very pleased with the performance.
  • The replication allowed us to move our workload from to another data center with minimal downtime.
