Overall Satisfaction with Abila MIP Fund Accounting
MIP Fund Accounting is currently being used agency wide from time keeping of on-site staff to financial management and reporting of all aspects of daily operations. Its ease of use allows current and accurate information to be available at the click of a mouse or the stroke of a few keys.
Pros
- Input of information is precise enough to ensure accurate information but also flexible enough to meet many needs. We are set up to mange costs by 5 variables giving us the ability to target in on one, all, or a combination of those variables to get information needed depending on report parameters we easily set up and are able to modify.
- The integration between time keeping, payroll tracking and processing, and accounting functions again insure accurate and current information available at all times without the tedious repetition of mundane tasks.
- The report generation gives endless possibilities to layout, configure, combine, and reproduce information. If I can't figure out how to get a report set up to give me the data I want to look at, a quick phone call has someone with a knowledge not only of the program but also enough of our business to painlessly and politely set it up for me.
- The user interface is friendly and intuitive. It just seems to make sense and ask for all the right input. I have only used MIP Fund Accounting in our application of it but I can see that it is easily customizable to many specific needs.
Cons
- It works well for our purposes, anything lacking would be my understanding. I feel that it has more possibilities than I realize and I am looking forward to finding time for more training.
- We are saving labor hours on the input of data and the reporting of data through MIP.
