Overall Satisfaction with Apricot by Social Solutions

Apricot is our client database, where we store all of our contact with
people seeking our assistance with domestic violence issues - ranging
from crisis calls, assessments, progress notes to surveys. It allows all
of our staff to follow a client's progress as we assist them and it
allows us to run reports on almost anything we need to measure for our
funders.

One of my issues with Social Solutions is in the question: scale program delivery. I don't know what that means. We are a non-profit, I am a social worker, and we do not have an IT, HR, or other management department. I believe that there are many ways in which this company has extended its customers (which is good) but I feel like it has forgotten how to be relatable to the non-profits and the people who work at them. This is why I am dissatisfied with the price increase; I am sure the capabilities of the software are worth the cost, but no one at my agency knows how to use them or has the time to explore how it can help us. So, we feel that we are stuck with a software that we love, but in many ways (financially, technologically) it is advancing beyond us.
I looked at CAP 60, but you could not have more than one window open. That would slow us down tremendously, so I like that about Apricot.

We love the customization options, so I think this is well-suited to almost any company. When we compared it to another brand offered to non-profits, it looked more professional and also allows multiple tabs to be opened, which increased our productivity when working with multiple clients or using multiple forms for the one client.
