Overall Satisfaction with Arena

We use Arena as our PDM system from Design to release to Production for manufacturing.
  • The simple user interface provides quick access to info.
  • Web hosting option allows for easy setup and requires no internal IT support.
  • Arena support/help response is timely.
  • Customization seems to be limited, although we have not had the need to customize our Arena instance.
  • Without Arena, we would not be able to manage our BOMs from early Engineering prototype to production release. Arena is a must for the Operations team to ensure BOM integrity throughout the product lifecycle.

The single most important factor for us is the product usability where Arena shines with a simple user interface and web hosted, which allows our partners to access our PDM data.
With some basic knowledge of BOM structures, the implementation was easy.
Arena is well suited for a small to medium size company. Cost is lower than other larger PDM systems, while the features are enough for small to mid-size companies.
