Intuitive Product Life Cycle Tracking

Our organization uses Arena all across different departments, from Design & Engineering to purchasing, manufacturing, and quality.

I was not in charge of implementation, but as a user, I found it easy enough to work without official training. In case of the need for more training, I found enough resources provided by Arena.

We have never used it for this purpose. I am not aware how the compliance feature is integrated in Arena. Some information on this should be useful for my company.

We have been using Arena since long before the Pandemic. However documenting items thoroughly in Arena has proved to be very useful when working away from the physical products. I have relied a lot on the information on Arena while working from home. It would be great to add an option of adding supplier link to the item description (a designated link section not simply adding it in the description)

We started using the ECR (Engineering Change Request) option since last year. I believe our quality department has started documenting and handling the non-conformities in Arena as well. It would be great to allow suppliers to have limited access to the relevant information (such as report of non-conformity or purchase specs or manufacturing drawings). This should save the purchasing department from having to download the files from Arena and manually forward them to the corresponding supplier.

Every product's life cycle needs to be tracked; and Arena does that in a simple and effective way.

I have not personally contacted them so far. There were integration problems with Arena a few months ago and our document control team was constantly in touch with Arena support to have it fixed. Meanwhile, some functionalities in Arena were down for 2-3 days.
