Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Education Management Solutions (formerly Blackbaud K–12 ON Solutions)

We currently use the Enrollment Management system, and I believe the academic component. I use it to build the application components, beginning with the Inquiry Form, then tailor the user experience using the checklist, communication tools, application, enrollment contract, and finish through the time the students end up actually enrolling at our school.

Pros

  • The checklist system.
  • The ease of use for users.
  • Good data management.

Cons

  • The financial aid module. It needs to be easier to enter information, and to see charts and overall data.
  • I would really love some better tutorials when it comes to the dashboard and analytics.
  • Having some automated data scrubbing would be wonderful, for things like phone numbers or prefixes.
  • It's incredible - things are much more accurate now after implementing this.
  • We are able to communicate with users much more easily.
  • We are able to keep track of application components much more easily.
Everyone is really great at getting back to us quickly, although I'm a bit low on the totem pole to reach out directly. They do a good job of making the resources we need to teach ourselves available.
It's appropriate throughout the entire process- that we are able to teach users how to use it from the get-go, and then they are able to then take what they learned on through their child's matriculation at the school is very important. I find the whole things to be user-friendly from the administrative end and for the parents as well.
