Overall Satisfaction with Blender

Blender is a versatile and powerful 3D modeling and animation software that we use in a variety of projects. One of its main uses is for product visualization, where we create highly detailed and accurate models of products for marketing and advertising purposes. We also use it for interior design projects, where we create 3D models of rooms and spaces to help clients visualize the finished product. Recently, we have also started using Blender for advanced web design projects that involve creating 3D assets for interactive and immersive websites. Overall, Blender has proven to be a valuable tool for our business, allowing us to create professional and high-quality 3D content for a wide range of projects.
  • 3D modeling
  • 3D animation
  • Sculpting
  • Rendering
  • Improved performance for large and complex scenes.
  • Better support for multi-resolution sculpting and retopology.
  • Enhanced support for industry-standard file formats and workflows.
  • 3D Modeling Tools.
  • The inbuilt render engines (Eevee and Cycles).
  • Great extensibility via external add-on support!
  • It definitely had a positive impact.
  • We simply couldn't do some projects without it.
  • Also the main app is free (extensions can be paid addons).
We used only Blender in a professional setting.

Yes

Did implementation of Blender go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Blender again?

Yes

As I mentioned earlier, we're using blender in multiple scenarios, but mainly for 3d product visualization and interior design. Allows us to present a nearly photo-realistic image of a client's vision. This is invaluable for our customers and us. Blender might be less appropriate in situations when complex scenes are involved in the production. Its viewport is getting better and better; however, when we're dealing with millions of polygons, the viewing experience can degrade somewhat. Also, different simulations are not the highest quality yet, i.e., cloth simulation.
