Ceridian Dayforce Review
Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
Ceridian Dayforce is being used across all departments. All major modules support business processes. We use the recruiting module to hire candidates that are brought into Dayforce as applicants. We use onboarding to introduce employees to our organization and prepare them to start their first day. The talent team utilizes performance and succession to move employees upward through the organization. WFM utilized the timesheet to track hours for our non-exempt population. Payroll and HR work hand-in-hand to ensure accuracy of employee record processing along with the benefits module to ensure employees are properly deducted for the benefits that they selected.
Pros
- Reporting - Dayforce provides over 300 hundred canned reports which is very helpful in building a reporting library.
- Time Keeping - Timesheets accurately reflect the hours worked by employees down to the minute.
- Payroll - Payroll process is helped by the ability to calc the payroll in advance to search for any errors to correct, rather than having to wait for the actual payroll run.
Cons
- Customer Support needs to be quicker to respond, and respond more accurately. Need more attention to detail to thoroughly review screenshots and case detail provided.
- Improved processes. Less hours spent doing manual processes and more time now being spent to be strategic in vision. Document Management is now storing files online that we had to store before in file cabinets. Moving to a much more paperless environment. Dashboard results help drive decision making at a glance.
More seamless process, less manual, and reduction of uploads.
