Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
This is being used by the entire organization; primarily by Human Resources, Payroll, and Cost Control. We are utilizing some of the self serve features for all employees as well. Ceridian facilitates almost all of our payroll and HRIS needs. Payroll being accurate is one of the most important things a business needs and Ceridian Dayforce does it very well.

- Time Away from Work.
- Custom integration.
- Time & attendance input.
- Reporting module is difficult to configure.
- Forced updates breaks things sometimes - they are quick to resolve with customer service but it's a pain when things are pushed to production without sufficient testing.
- Custom forms have allowed us to streamline new hire/rehire/termination processes.
- Custom reports (though difficult to build) have allowed us to intelligently look at our manpower and schedule changes as needed.
- Time Away From Work modules has given our employees the ability to directly see their balances without requesting further information from HR/LR Staff.
Dayforce automatically calculates all our pay for unionized employees based on rules outlined in the collective agreement. We simply import raw hours and then validate the output. It also allows for quick entries and off cycle payments in the even something was missed on the import (missed time, days off, etc.).
It automatically calculates dedications for taxes, cpp, e/i, benefits, and more.
It took a long time to get setup the way we needed, but it was well worth the effort. The day to day savings are significant.

We haven't had the ability to use much on the HRIS side of things. For us, Dayforce is primarily a payroll system with some of the HRIS things bundled in.
For us, the custom reports have given us the best view for hiring, scheduling, and compensation.

It's been fantastic for us to have everything integrated together. Unfortunately the Time & Attendance module didn't fit our requirements but we were able to easily integrate with a different solution. In particular, it's been very helpful having the hire/rehire process mostly automated - we have a lot of seasonal employees and being able to reactivate them and assign their new role has proven to be very beneficial.
