Overall Satisfaction with Conductor Searchlight

Conductor helps our organization review keyword performance, content performance, and market share. We have found it valuable when looking at/identifying areas to optimize. My specific department was not previously using any SEO platform; when we began to use Conductor, we really found this data valuable especially since it was data that we had not been looking at before. We utilize the data provided in the tool to monitor areas that we have optimized and identified areas that we can take action to help improve, specifically keyword rank and view page sessions over time. The tool is also used across several different teams, who can pull different valuable and actionable data from it.

Pros

  • Provides data in an easy and digestible way.
  • Provides graphs and charts to support data.
  • Provides the ability to create custom workspaces.

Cons

  • There is a lot of (useful data) but it can be overwhelming to narrow down.
  • Improved search rank position for keywords.
  • Provided insight into data and allowed us to report out.
  • Improved SEO acumen within our team.
While I have had little interaction with the customer support team, any time I have talked with them they have been responsive and helpful!
I have not evaluated any other products like Conductor.
Conductor is great for reviewing keyword performance and assisting in identifying areas of opportunity within organic rankings! It is also a great tool to see search performance over time and review how competitors are performing. We are able to make informed decisions/updates using keyword performance and content performance and track how these updates help/hurt.

Using Conductor Searchlight

As someone who is new to SEO, I believe Conductor's overall usability is great. As with any other platform, it does take some time to familiarize yourself; however, I really like the ability to create custom workspaces that are easy to navigate to and provide specific information that I want to look at on a regular basis.
