Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

It is used to develop detail drawings and control schematics across the company.
  • DraftSight replaces the need for an expensive AutoCAD license.
  • Could have better help files and support.
  • To us, this software is an overhead cost and does not really apply to an ROI discussion.
DraftSight's incorporation of standard AutoCAD commands made the transfer from one package to the other seamless even for the employees that are usually very resistive to any change. Overall it was one of the easiest changes we have ever implemented.
DraftSight works well to create and update 2D design details and control schematics.
