Overall Satisfaction with Druva inSync

We use Druva to backup all our VMWare Host and Virtual Machines. Druva is primarily being used in the Information Technology department for backing all departmental data and restoring files as required. By adopting cloud backup from Druva, our backup time window decreased dramatically and reduced costs by not renewing our existing backup software from Veritas and Microsoft OS. We also retired our tape backup solution.
  • You set up the backup configuration once and you no longer have to monitor it. I get regular email status for any missed or failed backup jobs.
  • Easy to set up and configure
  • Great technical support team
  • Druva Portal is very intuitive
  • Druva does not have a solution yet for a Microsoft Exchange brick level restore.
  • Ability to backup and restore Microsoft Information Store and individual mailboxes
  • Touch base with customers on new features and upgrades. This is lacking or I don't get calls on how to improve their product.
  • It has a positive impact on our backup time window
  • Very cost effective solution
  • Positive feedback from our employees on fast restore
Quest was also a wonderful product compared to Druva. When Druva provided a demo and spoke to me over the phone, I could tell right away that Druva was more superior in their portal as it was very easy to use and configure all my on-premise servers. Cost was also a big part of my decision to go with Druva.
The product works well if you are migrating to cloud backup. Very cost effective solution. If you are running Microsoft Exchange on-premise, you may want to check with Druva's technical team as they may not have the offering at this time.

Druva inSync Support

Their technical support team has been very helpful and very effective when I call them for assistance. As an example, when I lost my domain controller, their technical team was able to quickly call me back and provided assistance in restoring the domain controller properly.

Using Druva inSync

I would have given them a perfect 10 if they had a Microsoft Exchange restore solution for individual mailboxes. They promised to have this available early 2019 but I have not had any update on when they will release the product or if they are still planning to have a solution.
