Overall Satisfaction with F5 Distributed Cloud WAF ( Web Application Firewall)

We've used it to manage connections of different servers whereby at least you can manage what is the traffic that is going in managing traffic because it's entering into the server like a proxy in this case.
  • We've used it basically to manage connections. That is one of the good things and it's like a proxy. There's no direct connection to our infrastructure, the infrastructure which is behind the F5.

  • Basically, it has improved the infrastructure's performance. That means it is easier to manage. We don't have a lot of downtime because of that. Most of the services are up.
The fact that the platform is already there, we already have it. We do not have to implement a lot of code just as long as we have connected to it and installed it. It is pretty straightforward to use. It's easy. Usability is really simple.
Yes - We use it for public-facing infrastructure. So that is what we're using it for. We're not using it internally between the different internal infrastructures. It is not placed between any internal infrastructure.

Yes

It is well suited in an environment where you do not want to. If you're using infrastructure that is public-facing, definitely the F5 is going to be very good for you because you can manage the traffic that is carried from outside, otherwise, you'll be bombarded and they'll be connecting directly to your infrastructure. So that is what is good.
