Overall Satisfaction with Google Charts
We use Google Charts (both embedded in Google Sheets and the API) to graph out tabulated data in our Google Drive databases. It is used across the whole organization, and it replaces Excel—largely because collaborative work done on Google Drive services don't integrate well with Microsoft Office systems like Excel.
- Integration with Google Slides and Docs
- Simple graphs for presentations
- Fast graphing/pie charts
- Complex graphs for scientific publications
- Exporting in vector format
- Exporting to other applications in general
Google Charts is better for use with Google Services. For more complex graphical software, I prefer Origin or SigmaPlot.
