My experience using IBM Blueworks Live

We´ve been using IBM Blueworks Live to map business processes and easily generate content to support the creation of learning content for training programs of our clients. The product is very helpful to provide a collaborative environment with powerful features and has an intuitive interface. Actually our mapping process is more optimized and easier to manage.

Our control of the mapping process has improved exponentially. What was once stored in folders, emails, or files is now centralized with version control and updates, along with detailed change tracking and recording. Everything is in a single, transparent environment accessible via the Internet for all those involved in the work. This has resulted in time savings in execution and an enhancement in the quality of the work performed.

The impact was very significant in terms of work optimization and improved communication. Automatic notifications addressed serious communication and management issues we had before, which led to delays and rework. At the same time, the changes brought by the new work process required us to adjust our internal process and demanded more initial training and support effort than we had anticipated.

Previously, we had issues with inconsistencies throughout the process, including validation stages. We faced problems with versioning and control because everything happened in a very informal manner without a system. We needed to reduce process failures, improve work execution to avoid delays and rework that would impact subsequent stages. With the product, we now keep the entire workflow and communication in a single environment with all the control and management features that we simply didn't have before.
