Overall Satisfaction with IBM LinuxONE

We are using the platform to support OLTP database workloads across horizontally scaled systems.
  • Great security, if you configure things correctly
  • Performance per instance is above average if you compare to commodity x86
  • Standard templates for targeted security frameworks to assist with deployment
  • Positive increase in system uptime
LinuxONE has better scalability and price/performance metrics.
When you need the stability and uptime of a mainframe class system combined with the scalability of Linux private clouds or containers then this is the platform that you should evaluate.

There are a number of flexible entry points to fit within constrained IT budget parameters.
