Overall Satisfaction with Indeed Hiring Platform

Due to the pandemic, we had to pivot from holding in-person hiring events and interviews for store openings and the Indeed Hiring Platform provided the virtual experience we were looking for with a brand that we trusted. We're still a younger brand that is working on our brand recognition and we knew that advertising virtual hiring events on our own wouldn't yield a great turnout, so partnering with Indeed gave us the visibility we were wanting and the ability to make great hires quickly, easily, and safely.

  • Great customer service to support new and existing users to the platform
  • Easy user experience for both the manager and candidate
  • It'd be helpful to have a chat feature available to candidates in the lobby that is separate from the text box you put your welcome message in.
  • Have the resume attached to the candidate profile prior to the interview, or provide the candidate's resume along with the daily spreadsheet. Our managers like to review resumes prior to interviews so that would be helpful.
  • This is more on the backend - the cost of the platform is an investment so you would think that would mean the dollars you're investing are going towards the events you're scheduling. It was surprising to me when I was told that we still needed to have a budget to sponsor the events.

We've seen a decrease in time to hire, especially when using the platform for new store openings where we target hiring 20 store associates through a virtual hire event. In fact, we've been successful in meeting that goal thanks to the Indeed Hiring Platform. In addition to new store hiring events, we've used this platform to expedite the interview process for our retail manager positions. This was done to replace the phone interview step.
We're primarily targeting retail sales associates, supervisors, assistant managers, and store managers. This tool is great for targeting the right candidate pool. Our Indeed rep is always fantastic. They give us the best days and times to achieve the highest attendance for our events which yields a minimum of 3 quality hires.
We have a chain of C-stores, so the Indeed Hiring Platform has been extremely helpful for conducting more frequent interviews that support higher attendance. Our store managers appreciate being able to speak to more people back-to-back and they're impressed with the quality of candidates that have come through this platform.
