Overall Satisfaction
We use Jaspersoft to provide reports to our customers using data from our operational and data warehouse systems. We also use Jasper ETL for small scale extracts.
- Jaspersoft allows for us to present critical business information to our customers in an easy to understand format.
- Jasper ETL allows for us to create quality etl processes in a relatively short amount of time.
- We have had some challenges with the OLAP part of the tool and would like to see improvements there.
- During a current upgrade we have encountered issues with the product based on bugs. With this in mind, a little more QA on the product before it getting released would be appreciated.
- Our use of the tool has elevated the level of interest of our customers in the way the information is being presented.
- Our organization has an added emphasis on business intelligence and our use of Jaspersoft has allowed for us to meet these goals in a more timely manner.
- We do encounter and occasional glitch in the product that has us needing to find a work-around in order for us to meet a defined business requirement.
- Information Builders
JasperSoft stacks up well against Information Builders. In my experience, the report development aspect of Jaspersoft is preferred to that of Information Builders.
