Overall Satisfaction with Motive
Our drivers are sent a link to the Motive app when their cab-mounted ELD fails and they are authorized to run paper logs. Motive ensures the hours are calculated correctly, drivers without experience on paper logs are compliant and logs are turned in regularly. Without Motive, malfunction recoveries would be extremely difficult and expose the motor carrier to potential significant CSA violations and liability.

It's an amazing product and once our contract with our current ELD provider expires, Motive will be on the shortlist to replace them.
Driver prefer the intuitive dashboard and ease of use. Admin and fleet managers like the single click access to data, quick updates and robust features.

Evaluating Motive and Competitors
usability is important with our aging drivers. Owner operators dont trust or appreciate change and technology specifically. Anything we can do to ease that burden is a driver retention asset.
not sure I would...I am pleased that my process ended with Motive...realible, quick and easy.

no..using free version of driver logs to replace paper logs during ELD malfunctions. Enables use to test drive the product while we wait out the contract from our current vendor.
Had difficulty accessing the admin portal to assist a driver. Called support and determined access is only availalbe on a desktop PC even if being viewed in desktop mode from a table or phone. Support was kind, understadning and patient to explain the process and walk me through some solutions. Much appreciated!

Yes - restricted access to the admin panel from a smart phone is challenging and frustrating but i n the scheme of things...no apps can be perfect, right?
