Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)

We use Kofax Power PDF Advanced to:
  • Edit PDF documents.
  • Fill forms so it could be saved and printed.
  • Remove images from documents.
  • Enlarge text in documents to make it easier to read.
  • Remove some sections in a document and in pages.
One nice feature also the Clip Art section. I use the stamps section in Kofax Power PDF Advanced.
  • Great for enlarging the text in documents to make it easier to read.
  • Great in annotating a PDF document - it is built-in and you don't need to buy a separate program for it.
  • Kofax Power PDF Advanced enables us to create our own stamps to add to any PDF document.
  • Kofax Power PDF Advanced need to work on keeping the updated coming - the changing environments and requirements require from software vendors to update the software more often to stay relevant.
  • Kofax Power PDF Advanced to to develop lots of videos for detailing step by step on how to use each feature...
  • Kofax Power PDF Advanced need to add a Video editor within the software - nowadays the integration between text and video are everywhere.
  • The reason we went with Kofax Power PDF Advanced (formerly Nuance) is that it is NOT a subscription service and that is a very positive.
  • That saved us lots of monthly expenses.
  • With the savings we managed to invest in our business.
Kofax Power PDF Advanced is intuitive to use although some sections need improvements like the user interface need some work.
In the edit menu the ribbon sometimes disappears and the items on it are not editable.
We need to edit some of the items to highlight some of them and especially the color section and the fonts section - I noticed some languages not there.
  1. For our needs Kofax Power PDF Advanced is the product to go with - because it is NOT subscription based.
  2. I use Kofax SignDoc to sign and send a PDF which is a feature not available in Adobe Acrobat by itself.
  3. Kofax Power PDF Advanced makes it easy to create tables and multiple copies of the pages.
We did not have to use the support for Kofax Power PDF Advanced - the usability and convenience of use and streamlining of processes in the document creation and editing was somehow straightforward although the usability interface could use some needed improvement and update. Talking about the updated, there was not much updated, actually I don't believe Kofax Power PDF Advanced was updated from when we purchased it, which is not a good sign!

  • In validation of bill payments and invoice payment.
  • In signing also.
