Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)

Power PDF allows me to merge multiple documents to create pdf documents. Also, sign documents, and add comments. I chose Power PDF because it incorporates just about everything I need to do all in one product.
  • signing documents
  • creating pdf from multiple files
  • adding additional comments
  • a little clearer help menu
  • saves me a lot of time
  • lets me generate very professional documents
I actually had an emergency job to get out. My CAT program, which lets me sign my transcripts, had a glitch and I couldn't sign the transcript in the CAT system. I purchased Kofax, basically just to get the job out. I couldn't believe how easy it was to use. There was a very little learning curve. And I did get the job out on time
I would say first, Kofax has everything I need in one program. And second, the price was right. I personally prefer to buy the software outright, instead of a yearly subscription
the few times I've had to contact support, I've done it by email. I prefer email, as it lets me continue working. The response time is very quick with very clear instructions on how to resolve my issue

The most valuable is combining files.
I have always used Nuance/Kofax. Once you use it a couple of times, it's really easy to do the necessary tasks, ie - signing documents, combining multiple files into one pdf. I had used Nuance for years, which I thought was pretty good, but when I upgraded to Kofax it made things so much easier. I have colleagues that use other products who are constantly calling and asking me how to perform tasks in their pdf program. I always recommend that they switch over to Kofax.
