Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

I had tried to use Lucidchart previously a few years ago for personal use and found it a little difficult to use. It seems to have improved since then but some features could still be made a little more intuitive.
Helps with preliminary system designs, signal flow diagrams, etc. We currently have around five users. Lucidchart serves as an easier diagraming tool than CAD but is neater and more professional than hand drawings. We also use it for things like rack diagrams and patch panel layouts to help have a plan before going into the field to implement a AV system.
  • Flow charts
  • Line drawings
  • Built-in image search
  • Built-in shapes
  • Better ability to snap lines to points on images (ability to add snap points to images on equipment cable ports, for example)
  • Image transparency options for white backgrounds
  • Time saving
  • Brainstorming
  • Ability to visually represent ideas
We use Microsoft 365, so the integration into Teams is nice. I need to look into the ability to save documents directly to our SharePoint directories.
I was emailed personally by our account manager when my team user was created.

Do you think Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite's feature set?

Yes

Did Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite again?

Yes

Works very well for our industry where we are constantly designing systems involving many different electronic/network components. The ability to take images and then create line diagrams for signal flow/cabling is super convenient before having to commit to working directly in CAD on a final copy.
