Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

I started using Lucid Charts after watching a 2 minute video and doing a couple of lookups for help. With that, I've built three charts that help to make our folder structure and data-flow apparent so that we can discuss improving our data processing system.
I'm mapping the flow of data from collection to storage, processing and deliverables.
  • Easy and intuitive to learn.
  • Using layers to compare multiple iterations.
  • Make the layers configuration stick between uses. In other words, if I typically want to see two layers, then I would like to be able to set those to be visible when I open the file.
  • too soon to tell, but if I am able to successfully get our team to use the new folder structure the way it was intended to be used, then it will have been worth the time and expense of using Lucid Charts.

They're compementary
Very well suited for mapping folder structures, though it would be nice if there was a template for creating folder structure charts. The template could have multiple sized folder icons so that you can make smaller folders as you get deeper into the architecture.
