Overall Satisfaction with Lucidspark

My team has been using Lucidspark to help organize extensive brainstorming sessions. We are designing a tool for a robotic surgery system and we've gone through hundreds of different ideas and sketches. Lucidspark offers an extremely visual representation for organizing this data; we've divided our design into subsystems and with mind mapping, we can clearly see relations between ideas in different categories and we can easily navigate between them. Lucidspark has allowed us to easily and intuitively manage our ideas so we can spend more time on design and less on paperwork.
  • Visualization of large sets of ideas.
  • Easy to add new images and comments.
  • Different categories can be clearly differentiated by color or shape.
  • Finding the right functions can be difficult, maybe a search bar would be useful.
  • We used to spend as much time organizing and navigating our ideas as we did coming up with them. Now we can easily add them to the same place and navigate between them.
Lucidspark is really easy to start using if you know what you want to do with it. There are so many different ways to use it though that it can be hard at times to find the specific functionality you're looking for.
Our organization doesn't use any of these integrated programs, so this is not applicable for us.
We can easily brainstorm as a group and see everyone's ideas added to the workspace in real-time. We can also easily connect and comment on these ideas as our discussion progresses.
We haven't had a need to get support for Lucidspark, so in my mind, this means that Lucidspark is well enough supported that it doesn't need any additional help.

Box is great for storing files, but it is hard to navigate between them rapidly. Lucidspark helps us to easily get from one sketch or idea to another without needing to navigate between files on box.
Lucidspark is great if you want to visualize the relationship between ideas.
