Overall Satisfaction with Motive

As a trucking company, we use Motive as our ELD provider to be compliant with transport regulations. We also use it for tracking our trucks, filing our IFTA reports and preparing information for audits, among other things. These are all tasks that we could do manually, but Motive really streamlines the process. Having compared them next to their competitors, we found them to be more cost efficient, with better hardware and a great support base for it's users. We couldn't be happier.

There have been instances where I have needed support with an issue and I was not provided with the answer I needed, even after having spoken to multiple people in the tech department. I later found the answer I needed on my own after doing a deep dive. It was something that should have been simple and known by the tech people. That was a fairly simple matter though, or should have been. On almost all other occasions, I got the answer I needed right away and was very happy.
There are certainly many features incorporated in to one platform and we actively use as many as are applicable to our business. This does add an ease of use that would be more complicated having to graft together other methods.
Apart from periodic connectivity issues, it has always served us well, with limited lack of function.
Better pricing, better products, better support.

I'm not sure I can think of a specific scenario that Motive has been best suited for, that any other ELD isn't. It is simply an easier to use system compared to most.
